Millwright Position Overview
Reporting to the owners, the Industrial Millwright will be responsible for working safely and troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment. You will need to be available for emergency calls, travel, various shifts, working outdoors in all seasons, and overtime. You will also need to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Responsibilities
- Actively participating in safety activities (FLHA, TOOL BOX).
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Repairing industrial and mechanical equipment in the field or shop.
- Cleaning, lubrication, performing preventative maintenance inspections, and recording findings.
- Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, blue prints, assembly drawings, and schematics.
- Installing, aligning, dismantling, rebuilding, and moving stationary industrial and mechanical equipment.
- Correctly use lifting devices and rigging.
- Coaching and mentoring Millwright Apprentices.
- Navigating to client sites, meeting with them, and following their directions.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Millwright
- Consistent commitment to working safely
- 5 years of industrial experience
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience in aligning and setting up industrial equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to weld is an asset
- Willingness to work in adverse conditions
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude who can work in group or on their own with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license
- Fall Protection, Confined Space tickets are an asset
- Provide on-call support when needed
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
- Have you own tools (speciality provided)
Journeyman Welder Position Overview

You will need to be available for emergency calls, travel, various shifts, working outdoors in all seasons, and overtime. You will also need to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

- Cutting, gouging, lancing, welding, plasma, and grinding of a wide variety of metals.
- Reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, blue prints, assembly drawings, and schematics.
- Installing, aligning, dismantling, rebuilding, and moving stationary industrial and mechanical equipment.
- Correctly using lifting devices and rigging.
- Navigating to client sites, meeting with them, and following their directions.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Welder - 3 to 5 years experience (with WCB tickets preferred)
- Consistent commitment to working safely
- 5 years of industrial experience
- Experience in mining and forestry mills is an asset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in adverse conditions
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude who can work in group or on their own with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license
